Nick has participated in over two hundred and fifty bodybuilding events since March 2006 all over the world. On July 18, 2009, he earned his WBFF Pro Card in Atlanta, Georgia. About two years later on March 19, 2011 he won the overall title at the 2011 NPC Wheelchair Nationals that took place in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. By winning this title, Nick was able to earn his IFBB Pro Card for wheelchair bodybuilding. He is the only wheelchair bodybuilder globally that hold two different professional wheelchair bodybuilding card from two bodybuilding organizations. Thus, far, this feat has not been replicated by any other athlete.
To help other disabled athletes take part in the sport, Nick founded the largest online wheelchair bodybuilding community. He is also a global promoter of wheelchair bodybuilding. His mission has been to bring more exposure and awareness to this highly competitive sport. To achieve his goal, Nick has led by example. His body is chiseled so that aspiring wheelchair bodybuilders can have faith in their dream.
Wheelchair bodybuilding has been a passion of Nick’s life for most of his life. He has been a promoter of the sport in many mediums such as in major magazines, news stations, newspapers, and through motivational speaking events. He has also staged appearances at countless bodybuilding events throughout the world. He has traveled to almost every corner of the USA raising awareness about wheelchair bodybuilding.
A major achievement in his career was on August 16, 2014, when he took the first place at the 2014 Dallas Pro in Dallas, TX. He managed to dethrone the Undefeated Amateur & IFBB Professional Wheelchair Bodybuilder. The undefeated champion had been a pro bodybuilder before he was involved in an accident. The accident forced him to turn to wheelchair bodybuilding.
